We are pleased to inform you that the shooting of the film "VENICE" by the talented Georgian director Rusudan Chkonia has successfully started in Georgia. Rusudan is known worldwide, thanks to her previous film "KEEP SMILING", which was awarded prizes of the largest European and Asian film festivals - from the Venice Biennale to the Abu Dhabi Film Festival. This film was also nominated for Oscar from Georgia.
The general production of "VENICE" is realized by our partner film company 20 Steps Productions, producer Vladimer Katcharava. The film is being co-produced by Georgia, Switzerland, Norway and Russia, with financial support from the Ministry of Culture of Russian Federation.
